An example of  a complex user path redesign
Problems identified from the users and the course reserves specialist:
• Previously the students had to click through the multiple pages within an outdated library catalog
• The course reserves page showed lengthy instructions on how to search via hard-
to-remember course IDs or look in the lengthy drop-down menus
•The students couldn't identify the books by their covers
 BEFORE
• The website had this page with the instructions on how to access the course reserves
Solution:
I  advocated for direct access to the course reserves and led the changes.  The complexity of the underlying metadata required close collaboration with a programmer and a course reserves specialist. These changes have not only dramatically streamlined user access to course reserves, but also simplified the interactions between the library staff,  faculty and students.
