Biomedical Evidence landscapE (BEE) Map

This concept map (or infographic) was designed to highlight the complexity of an individual’s information needs when navigating the landscape of biomedical information. Information-seeking pathways can look very different based on the question and needs of the information user. In healthcare, especially, understanding the flow of information can be critical when treating patients, managing costs and quality of care, and adding new and improved insights to the current body of knowledge. Although developed with medical students in mind, this map can be applied to any healthcare audience interested in evidence-based practice.
